At White Rock Communication Therapy, we believe in clear, respectful policies and open communication. Here’s what you need to know about how we work:
Payment and Insurance
We are a private-pay practice. Payment is due at the time of service. We do not bill insurance directly, but we’re happy to provide a superbill (an itemized receipt) for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and is the responsibility of the client.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept credit cards and debit cards prior to a session’s completion. If you like, we can securely keep a card on file for your convenience.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
We value your time and ours. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) will be charged 50% of the session fee.
No-shows will be charged the full session fee.
We understand that emergencies or illness happen — exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
Session Length
Initial Evaluations: 60–90 minutes, with a detailed written report and plan of care
Ongoing Therapy: 45-minute sessions, always tailored to your goals
Re-Evaluations
We conduct formal re-evaluations every three months to measure progress, update goals, and provide an updated written plan of care.
Teletherapy
We proudly provide in-home services in Dallas, Park Cities, Plano, Richardson, and Frisco, and offer teletherapy to clients anywhere in Texas.
Privacy and Confidentiality
We strictly follow HIPAA guidelines to protect your privacy and handle all personal health information with care and confidentiality.
Pro Bono & Reduced-Fee Services
Whenever possible, we believe in giving back. We occasionally offer a limited number of pro bono or reduced-fee teletherapy sessions for clients experiencing financial hardship. These slots are offered on a case-by-case basis when our schedule and resources allow — please ask if you’d like to know about availability.

We proudly serve clients in the comfort and convenience of their own home in Dallas, Park Cities, Richardson, Plano, and Frisco. We also treat patients throughout the state of Texas via Teletherapy through a secure online platform.

We are a private-pay provider, so we will provide you with a superbill, or an itemized receipt of services, after the therapy session that you can submit to your insurance company for potential partial reimbursement. We cannot guarantee what each individual’s insurance will reimburse.
